All entries must remain in the patch through closing date on registration form.

Youth entries must be made by children. Parents may assist in placing the scarecrow in the Patch; however, in fairness to all contestants, any last minute assembly or touch-ups by adults will disqualify the entry.
All entries are subject to the limitations of space availability.
As all scarecrow entries must remain out-of-doors from set-up date until the end of and may be subject to severe wind and/or rain, their construction should be durable and all ornamentation securely attached. Carved pumpkins or other living materials that will not last the duration of the exhibition are discouraged.
As no electricity is available for kinetic scarecrows, you must provide your own silent (no power generators, please) power source – batteries, solar power units or wind currents may be utilized for the movement or other effects.
